How to Clock In and Out Using the isolved Employee App

The isolved employee app provides a convenient way for employees to clock in and out of work. With this feature, employers and employees can track work hours accurately, guaranteeing proper attendance. In this guide, we will walk you through the process of clocking in and out using the isolved employee app.

1. Open the isolved app

Look for the pink clock icon on the dashboard. (usually in the bottom right on a phone and top left on a tablet)

2. Tap on the clock icon.

The option you see may vary depending on your company setup. You may see options to submit a Quick Punch, Detailed Punch, and Missing Punch, depending on your organization's settings.

Quick Punch

A quick punch refers to when you only have to punch without adding any details. The system will automatically determine the type of the punch based on your current status.

3. Tap the lightning bolt icon.

4. Tap PUNCH.

Detailed Punch

A detailed punch is a punch where you have to add additional information, like punch mode (in, out, or transfer) project you work on, etc..

5. Tap the checklist icon

6. Fill in the required details.

7. Tap SAVE.



Your organization may require you to have the app record your geo location (GPS location) at the time of the punch. Make sure you allow the app to access GPS information, otherwise your punches won't be saved.
Additionally, some organizations use "Geo Fencing" to restrict clocking in and out outside of specific GPS parameters. If this is your case you'll have to make sure that you're onsite when clocking in and out.
